Sports is supposed to be an escape. No one is solving world hunger or curing cancer by playing recreation sports. 

That's why 288 Sports is not meant to be serious, except when you're hurt...then we'll run for the hills like Level C CPR-certified chickens with our heads cut off.*

We take pride through the use of meaningless memes meant to make you have fun and make people laugh. Or at least we try to make people laugh...they usually look at us like a 3-headed lizard. 

It's common knowledge that physical activity is key to one's well being, and we understand you work hard for your money.

​288 Sports strives to give you the best bang for your positive entertainment dollars by having a competitive, but loose, environment where fierce contests are encouraged but, not taken seriously.

Community Causes 

288 Sports believe in giving back to the Ottawa community, which is why $1 from each game timekept and $20 from each registered league team will go towards the Ottawa Food Bank. 

Not only that, 288 Sports is the first and only league in Ottawa to implement charitable fines as a disciplinary tool alongside suspensions for their sports leagues. For more information, click here.
