288 Sports was created to take the stress out of finding timekeepers for hockey and ringette games in the Ottawa region. What started as a simple solution for a common problem has grown into a full-scale operation built on consistency, reliability, and professionalism.
We handle hiring, training, and scheduling of timekeepers so team managers, coaches, and organizers never have to scramble again. Whether it’s house league or AAA, youth or adult, we’ve got it covered.
Our timekeeping department is led by Senior Coordinator Abraham Lau, a Carleton University graduate with a passion for sports, systems, and (occasionally) meme-based communication. His experience running timekeeping crews for major leagues - including the Carleton Adult Hockey League - has helped shape our reputation for being organized, dependable, and easy to work with.

Giving Back:
For every game we time keep, we donate $1 to the Ottawa Valley Wild Bird Care Centre, helping fund their new $4 million facility. It's our way of giving back to the community; because great service should make a difference on and off the ice.
